So it is war between us...
I have just purchased these little blighters to deal with the evil slugs. This is what the website said: "Each packet of Nemaslug powder contains millions of microscopic Nematodes that you simply water into your garden. Within three days your slugs will have stopped feeding and started to die. Works against all slug species and is completely safe for children and wildlife."
So biological warfare it is!!!

Blerghhhh - apparently the Nematodes bore into the slugs brains . . .shudder . . we solved the problem with plants in pots on a first floor decking - yeah I know hardly practical.
I had heard that garlic deters slugs - so I put whole cloves around plants I wanted to protect . . the slugs ate the garlic . . .sigh . .

I couldn't get the Nemaslug stuff to work. User error? Who knows. I'll be interested to hear if it's effective on your slugs. Beer used to work on mine, but recently they've been shunning the Tesco Value stuff. I think the blighters have joined CAMRA.
