Look Who's Back

So he's finally back then. Watched the new Doctor Who last night (did anyone really think I wouldn't it) and enjoyed it. Exactly what it should be full of dodgy acting, melodrama and slightly naff effects.

It did seem a bit of 45 minute trailer for the series, with less plot than usual and loads of set pieces stitched together. 'Here's the Doctor, he's a bit mad. Oh look it's something normal being a (bit) scary. Look it's the Tardis. Now the Doc's doing something heroic. It's a baddy. Ah saved the day in the nick of time etc etc.'

Looking forward to next weeks, but I do have to ask one thing of the good Time Lord - what the heckity-heck is anti-plastic eh?
